Pineapple Express" isn't the sharpest, funniest, or most relatable comedy from its era, but maintains a strong comedic legacy for it's recognizable title and unusually graphic ending.

Epic stoner-action movie. This is awesome and Rogen and Franco are brilliant together.

Pineapple Express is a consistently funny comedic gem. It's a chaotic mashup of stoner buddy film with a detective thriller that is a combination of self awareness, satire, and silliness that works. The chemistry and timing that the cast share with each other makes even the simplest of scenes hilarious and James Franco deserves a mention for the braindead creation of Saul, the weed dealer, who echoes Brad Pitt's character in True Romance.

Ah, David Gordon Green, you always know just how to bore me to death. No amount of drugs could make me find this film interesting or funny. Oh. I get it. They witnessed a murder. And they're stoners. And know they have to escape. While they're stoned. That's. Funny. Almost as funny as that one movie where everyone was turning into a zombie but no one noticed. That was also funny. And it never got old. SUCK IT, ONE-TRICK-PONY-COMEDIES.

No wrong can be done with "Freaks and Geeks'" stars James Franco and Seth Rogan, particularly with a hilarious role by Danny McBride and lots of pot. It's a stoner film at it's finest, if you like stoner movies, that is. The plot itself is pretty dumb, but it's relished with so much humor and good music that it's consistently entertaining and a great adventure.

Can't fathom the love for this movie. I'm all for a good stoner film, and re-pairing of Seth Rogen and James Franco seems like a winner, but man.. I just found it tedious and stupid. Maybe I was too sober.

Don't listen to the plot about "it's along the lines of Superbad... Etc." That's dumb as hell. It's a stoner comedy.

The movie pushed it with the weed, and it really felt predictable at times seeing as this type of situation can occur alot in movies. James Franco and Seth Rogen hold up the movie well, and may be the strongest point of this film. Another good Apatow film, but how long can he keep this going?
