Even for James Bond, "Live and Let Die" has some ridiculously illogical set pieces. In spite of some contrived action scenes and reckless execution during its last act, Roger Moore's first time as Agent 007 entertainingly combines spy thrills with a little 70s blaxploitation and "Smokey and the Bandit."

A strong first Bond adventure for Roger Moore. I liked the mix of Voodoo and other themes.

Not my favorite Bond film, but still a pretty decent outing for the spy series. It does, however, have the best Bond theme song, and a few good villains (thought the Voodoo thing was kind of weird). All in all, a good effort.

The best of the Roger Moore era, this 70s Bond film introduced us to the very lovely Jane Seymour. But its Yaphet Kotto who steals the show. Stunts are great. Film is campy. Also features the greatest theme song to any movie everwritten by the very talented Paul McCartney
