I've just read that Taken 3 is in the works. Who are they going to take now, the grandparents?

Somehow this movie made twice as much as the original ($50 million vs. $24.7 million) over the weekend. Apparently Liam Neeson's badassery contains much more appeal than I would have thought. I'm still waiting to rent this.

cutting the vilolence to a 12 cert is the most dissapointing thing about this film but apperently the dvd will be the proper cut so i,ll wait for that.shame as the first movie was great now they smell the cash they have diluted it to reach a wider audience.script wise i had better idears so thats disapointing they went for similar story as well but i'm sure it will be good.just a few hours entertainment it should deliver that by the sound of it.

Everything I have read about it is that it is the exact same as Taken. Hangover 2 all over again - ditto Chris.

I had the same thoughts. This is basically a re-hash, just with new action and locations. I might still see this, if others say it's different enough, or has some action worth seeing.

Am I the only one who thinks this is pretty much the exact same movie only a different location and maybe a slightly altered plot? It's like the Hangover II all over again, except with Liam Neeson killing a bunch of people instead of a chain-smoking monkey in a wee vest.I mean, I'm not wrong here, am I? Then again, I don't think you can go wrong with Neeson taking out an incredible amount of bad guys - it's just plain fun. You know, if you're into action.
