Dear Reader, (I don't really remember a lot of this film, but I'll do my best.) If you love delicious, action slacked (slow motion), grade A, un-homogenized, pure, "sexy" violence, you might love this film. As for those of us who go to the movies for the story ... I don't remember there being one. All I remember is that a bunch of jocks wanted to chuck a javelin at the gay dude, who probably has a mean rating of 9.98 on vampirefreaks.com, and then the jocks got impaled by a bunch of fancy lawn darts, which I had previously thought were illegal. That might not be an accurate recount of the movie. Let me try again. It was basically like Braveheart, yeah, only on steroids, meth, X, horse, 'shrooms, crank, blow, huff, windowpane, …

I like it. I would definitely see a film by quadruplets.

Charlie Kaufman wrote Adaptation with his imaginary twin. If you're a twin you could write it alone or you could let your twin come up with the ideas and then write it. That would be rad.

i'm glad you liked Casablanca. I should probably rewatch it sometime. Probably the greatest script of all time and w ritten by twins.

$60!! That would be fun though. We have a theater here that plays older movies (well a couple) and they have done Casablanca before, and have 21+ screenings that have a bar available for drinks. I've only done that once, and with parking and dinner (they have a cafe too) it came to about $35. so it's a once in awhile thing, but is fun to do :)
And Angelo Badalamenti is good as well as James Horner (pre-titanic) and Michael Convertino (Guarding Tess' only plus was the score). There's other …

The Golden Compass Review comment
Wow I was going to avoid seeing this film. You know who my favorite "new" composer is? Alexandre Desplat. He is amazingly wonderful with everything I've heard him do. He also did The Painted Veil which was so terrible even tho I like the actors. The music really really was wonderful tho. This guy is great!!

The Golden Compass Review comment
dammit, I was excited for seeing this movie. But after reading this review and others for the film I may not bother. I guess Sweeney Todd is the safe bet.
