Peter Weller returns as police officer Alex Murphy or Robocop as he is also called, who this time must take on an evil OCP executive (Daniel O'Herlihy) and his helper Juliette Fax (Belinda Bauer) who want to replace Robcop with a newer more tough machine. He's also fighting the spread of a new highly addictive drug known as "Nuke" that is being distributed by a psychotic dealer named Cain. During a confrontation with Robocop Cain is critically injured. An OCP operative murders the drug lord in his hospital bed and puts his mind in her newest creation: "Robocop 2". In the battle that ensues, only one cyborg will be triumphant, will it be Cain or Murphy? I can reveal that they wreck half the city while trying to kill each other. Nancy Allen is great returning as Ann Lewis, Robocop's partner and sick-kick. Violent, corny at times, this sequel piles on tons of violence and brutality which action fans will love.
