Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) escapes and after a few months, Detective Kerry (Dina Meyer) has been captured by Jigsaw. Jigsaw’s next test subject is Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is a troubled Doctor who has plans of getting a divorce. Jeff (Angus Macfadyen) is also abducted because he has been trying to search for the killer of his 8 year old son. Amanda (Shawnee Smith) accompanies Dr. Denlon to John Kramer (Tobin Bell). Jeff enters a freezer and finds Danica Scott (Debra Lynne McCabe), because of her self-absorption and cowardice, his son died. He meets the rest of the people who were part of the accident.

Flashback on Amanda shows good characterization, even to the point of being an accomplice in the first Saw with regards to Adam. The painful contraptions were immensely improved and much more gore was added on this third installment. Topics on resentment, forgiveness, marriage, choices, obsession, egotism and letting go of the past were touched based on the characters. Wonderful quotes from John - “But her emotion is also her weakness.” “Your rage and your vengeance will only hurt the ones you love.” “Make your choice.” “Your range and vengeance Screenplay was effective and soundtrack brings the scenes to life. Its editing was spectacular to make it effective. A diminutive questionable aspect about this film is the conclusion about Eric Matthews kid Daniel left hanging in Saw II and Jeff’s daughter. Saw III was a good horrific movie about various emotions and how fragile people can be in certain unfortunate events.
