Hereafter review

French television journalist Marie Lelay (Cécile de France) survives a near death experience. Psychic George Lonegan (Matt Damon) reads for his brother's client. Billy (Jay Mohr) insists that he utilize his gift. George wants to quit because the process is painful for him, though throughout the film one wonders if his reason was valid. Marcus and Jason (Frankie and George McLaren) do their best to prevent their mother from being picked up by social services. Highlights of the film was the impressive realistic tsunami, conversations of Goerge and the twins and the way the characters become intertwined. Mostly the picture drags and plot was all over. Score was almost nonexistent and the screenplay could have been improved. Parts of the film were good, but as a whole, Hereafter is a disappointment compared to the other director's works.
