Among the most prestigious performing arts dramas ever put to film. The production value hasn't aged a bit, the visuals are still dazzling, and the story remains gut-punchingly powerful.

A fantastically creative film. Visually, it's seriously one of the best ever and deserves all of its accolades. The acting is a little dated, it clearly was made in 1948, in fact, you could convince me that it was even earlier. The highlight, of course, is The Red Shoes sequence, which takes place right in the middle of the film. As old-fashioned as teh acting it, I really can't believe that that sequence was able to be made in '48. It's truly amazing. This is a must-see film.

A film that uses beautiful mise-en-scene to craft a story about jealousy and obsession. The characters and dialogue are, at times, melodramatic, but the dance scenes, combined with the films powerful visuals, are lovely.

An absolutely beautiful looking movie, with some somewhat dull characters.
