This was a gangster film that didn't work at all for me. All of the characters and scenes felt like recycled parts from other (better) films in the same genre. De Niro always chews the scenery well, but here, his talents seem squandered with a sub-par script and story.

Great movie! DeNiro delivers one of his best performances in this movie. I love that line, "the working man is the tough guy!"

Fairly underrated entry into the crime sub-genre that shouldn't disappoint if you're a fan of Goodfellas, Casino and the like.
