I read it and loved it. Have you seen The Time Traveler's Wife? That was another case where I read the book and then saw the movie. I though the movie was great. If followed the book pretty closely.

oh, sorry I forget to add people--the icon is so small and right below my picture I never notice i have a request until i check email!
I don't like Gerard Butler either--i liked him in law abiding citizen and so far that is it. Actually he is okay in RnRolla because he plays an gullible crook and the movie is not centered around his performance.

yea, no you are thinking the Runaways--which is just okay. I was disappointed in it but there is a excellent scene when the lead singer sings in the band for the first time; it was brilliantly done.
Rock N Rolla has Gerard Butler in it. The title is supposed to suggest the characters are a mix between "gangsta" and "rocker"

I agree, this movie is worth having in your collection just for the soundtrack yet alone the amazing performances.

BTW For as good as your argument was on Shawshank, again, ITS THE NUMBER 1 HIGHEST RATED FILM ON IMDB AND IS NOW ON THE AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE'S TOP 100 LIST OF THE GREATEST MOVIES EVER MADE!! Its not downgraded by anyone because people love the shit out of that movie and its one of the most popular films ever. That does not make it underrated.

Hey - sorry for taking so long to get back to you but i tend to take leaves of absence from this site, unless i have some movie ranking to catch up on :-p I can't remember exactly why i picked the clarinet but it, along with Sax, were my top choices way back in the 4th grade. Since then i've picked up some other instruments, mostly woodwinds, but Clarinet is the only one i'm truly proficient at.
