I've been enjoying watching the film industry evolve in the silent era. I'm only up to 1922 thus far but my favorites so far are "The Penalty" and "Laugh Clown Laugh" both interestingly starring Lon Chaney who is my favorite Silent Actor so far. "The Kid" with Charlie Chaplin was good too.

The "Natural" w/ Rob Redford: basically about a great up and coming pitcher. I can't remember if this woman shot or poisoned him when he was just starting off. But basically, he gets seriously injured where he can't play the game anymore. Decades later, he goes for one last try, being the oldest pitcher around. He winds up to still be the best. Thanks... :) I like to think it's a little bit of both. You should definitely see the old Oceans Eleven, that is if you like classic movies. It has a great cast!

Disappointed?! You also have Streep, Alfred Molina, John Heard and of course Edward Furlong whose acting is much better than he previous roles in T2 and Pet Sematary 2 (i guess he likes sequels). If you come out disappointed--i'll give you your money back for the rental...LOL

Ocean's 11 is not my favorite movie by any means. But, the Character dynamics are good, it's funny, with good plot twists. (Not to mention the original is amazing). It's got good acting and decent dialogue. I find it very enjoyable and easy to watch. It think it's a good movie, for the kind of movie it is. It's all about expectations in my mind. :P
