Try The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, and On the Waterfront again sometime. I have to agree that Dr. Strangelove and Apocalypse Now weren't my cup of tea at all. My friend and I made fun of Streetcar Named Desire, LOL.

004 Actors: Eastwood, Clint comment

My friend just finished watching all Clint Eastwood-directed films. I was pretty amused by that.

I do think that The Shawshank Redemption and To Kill a Mockingbird were better books. However, the adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird was pretty decent. You have to read the novella: Rita Hayworth & The Shawshank Redemption. It's so much more detailed. Eh, just some advice. :)

Hello Sapien, thanks for the add. Isn't everybody's favorite "When Harry met sally?" It is in my world lol... By the way, happy belated birthday. This was also my 8 year old's birthday. I might have to steal some of your top movies. Reminded me of some I've neglected, such as "Do the right thing".

(500) Days of Summer was ok. But the girl was too much like a guy and the guy was too much like a girl. It was so-so-. I wonder what audiences will think of it. It has the potential to rake in the bucks although I'm not sure if it will do so.

James Stewart is in Anatomy of a Murder and it's directed by Otto Preminger. Lee Remick is also in it; she was famous for a season. It's a famous court movie. You'd probably enjoy.
