Stand Up Guys Review comment
Great review. I agree and just a waste for such legendary/talented artists.

I thought the story reminded me of both In Bruges as well as The Crew

Serpico Review comment
Serpico: An excellent movie and an excellent book. Al Pacino was great in his role as Serpico.

The Graduate Review comment
As a person who was a teenager in the 1960's, I, too liked The Graduate very, very much, and was able to identify with it. I recently saw another screening of The Graduate, and it was amazing to see Dustin Hoffman again, so many years later, when he was so young.

Serpico Review comment
I saw the movie Serpico when it first came out, and thought that it was an excellent film. Al Pacino was, and still is a fabulous actor. I read the book shortly after seeing the movie, and I thought that it, too, was excellent.

1776 Review comment
1776 was boring as hell! My friend and I walked out in the middle of it!

3:10 to Yuma Review comment
I agree with everything you said in your review up to your comments on Crowe and Bale. Ford was about as vanilla an actor as you will find in all of his roles and as a villain he barely registers. Crowe is more menacing and interesting on every level. Bale is also more believable and nuanced and thus more sympathetic than Hefflin who is always too good to be true (see Shane.) I liked both films but I think the new one was more engaging.

Che ( Che Part 1, Che Part 2 ) Review comment
100% agreed. I do not know how any normal thinking person could like him, watch the film without puking or wear a damned shirt. The guy ranks up there with Hitler and others.
