Not even scientists & doctors cared, why should we

An initially intriguing premise that quickly forgets how interesting Benjamin's condition is (as apparently no doctors, scientists, or anyone else for that matter really seems to care) and it focuses on a dull love story (which is quite disturbing when you think about it). It's hard to care since no lesson is learned and Pitt is a likable actor, but he portrays Benjamin so blandly, we almost want to quietly exit the theater unnoticed as not to hurt his feelings. The scenes that work best involve Jared Harris as the hard-living tugboat captain and Henson is endearing as the strong-willed Queenie that raises Benjamin from an infant, but the journey here is long, slow and unrewarding. Final Grade: C+
