"Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans" is my absolute favorite silent movie. The story is, of course, ridiculously fairy-tale like, but what kind of stories do you expect to be told? Murnau is one of the best directors, and probably is the best director of his time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the greatness of classic film.
