What a brilliant endeavor, Zack Snyder. "Watchmen" is by far one of my favorite graphic novels of all time, next to "From Hell" by the same author, and I was slightly skeptical when entering the theatre at our employee showing this night. However, Snyder, you are by far the best adapter that I've seen in a long time.
With the present success of "300," [also very faithful to the graphic novel] Zack Snyder brings us into a very different world, full of anti-heroes and anti-villains. A murder mystery that turns into an action/adventure that turns even deeper into a character study.
By far, one of the best films of the year that better be up for at least Best Supporting Actor by Jackie Earle Haley [who was totally dissed for his performance in "Little Children"] as the demonized Rorschach.
