Snarky teen comedy that acts like a combo between 'HOME ALONE' and 'WORKING GIRL'. The dramatic elements don't work as well as the comedy. But luckily it's funny. Christina Applegate shines in this movie as a sassy teenager who has to grow up fast and take care of her 4 mischievous siblings while their mother is away on vacation. To the point where she fakes her resume and gets a job at a major company.
There are a few funny supporting roles by Joanna Cassidy as her boss, John Getz as a sleazy coworker, and David Duchovny as a jealous coworker.
