This movie was hands down the most intellectually stimulating movie of the year... The novel itself is very illuminating and it offers a totally new perspective on the life of a hero, as did the movie... The comedian played the role of the just hero while simultaneously playing the role of the unjust... Dr. Manhattan is the indifferent mock god that no longer wishes to assimilate with the world...Rorshach is the psychotic detective with the soul of an angel and the unfortunate persona of the apathethic crime fighter....Night owl is the retired super hero who simply can't find his place...The silk spectre is the beutiful yet underappreciated girlfriend of doctor manhattan who seeks out love with night owl.... and finally the brains behind the operation, ozymandius was the self proclaimed future king of the new world he envisioned, though seen very few times in the movie, he is truly the star so watch out for him....this movie is definately worth watching...it has some plot issues but i still recommend you go..also keep in mind that its a little long so bring some extra popcorn... I rate this movie 3.95/4.
