It goes from haunted pool to evil spirit possession to monkey's paw situation - and it's still utterly as ridiculous as you could imagine, if not more so. Wyatt Russell is still decent in the lead but the film is all over the place and rarely scary. Blumhouse may have put out some amazing horror, but Night Swim is NOT up there with the best.
