Exquisite characterization and a quite good depiction of internalised homophobia make up for the intermittent amateurishness of the cinematography. A believable happy ending is a fine bonus. Not quite in the league of Call Me by Your Name, Moonlight, and God's Own Country but nevertheless a worthy addition to the Depressed Twinks Queer Cinema Canon.
Wait, that was the guy from Dukes of Hazzard? How the hell did one of the Duke boys end up in a Breaking Glass film?
