This Mel Brooks spoof is short of just one thing- full, hearty laughs.

Brooks' last parody is a decent one, with a good amount of funny moments. It's no 'Blazing Saddles', or even 'Spaceballs', but it still has it's charm and laughs.

Although there are a few really good scenes, this movie as a whole can't hold a candle to Mel Brooks earlier work. Still, this holds up much better than the so-called parody comedies they're trying to pass off today.
