This movie actually has excellent cinematography and music and just an overall good tone in general. However, it's problem is that it is not really much of a movie. It's more like an instruction manual. Real films are about characters. All the characters in Traffic are just completely one-dimensional plot devices used to illustrate the mechanics of the drug trade.

Unfortunately, I have only seen this movie once. I really liked it. Yes, it was very slow, but it made sense. So did the colors that were used. I can't wait to see it again, though I know it will be a long time before I do.
