Yes Man starts out as a typical Hollywood comedy; predictable and pretty badly written. But it evolves towards the end and the message of the film is actually pretty good. Jim Carrey was also surprisingly good in this movie. Although I really like him, he has done his share of mediocre comedies most part of his career.

I went to see this movie because it was rated to be the funniest thing ever. Well, that was not quite true. While there were a lot of funny moments I liked this more because of the message it had. I was actually kind excited to see how the whole "Yes" thing was playing out for him. Though it was slightly predictable in some aspects (i.e. I was like "okay so when is she going to find out about the whole Yes thing and get mad and break up with him so they can get back together in the end") I loved the completely random adventures. They really pushed the limits on the whole "live life to the fullest" thing. I think when people see this movie they're probably going to start saying "no" a lot less.

Yes Man was a fun movie which I probably would have avoided if it hadn't been for the unusually funny preview. I hoped that all the great moments weren't in the preview, which can be pretty normal. However, despite its someone formulaic progression, the movie succeeds in winning its audience over. Highly recommended, but only to those who like to laugh. Great L.A.
