So this was a very interesting movie. The concept was definitely unique but this uniqueness came with a price. Many viewers found the overall plot very confusing but the scenes were justified. I think most of the talk of the movie surrounds the very last scene where the top was still spinning and then the movie ended... so what really did happen? was it all a dream or was it reality? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQYw4nMh5D0 Heres a clips of what really happened (basically what the producers had before but changed the last second).

A very strong film, and it's important to be engaged in the beginning. Though it takes a while for actual character development to actually occur, Nolan eventually gets there. Great story, effects, and direction. One minor complaint is with Hans Zimmer's score, which is good (as usual) but bombards the viewer. It gets distracting at times when you're trying to hear the conversations and ominous music plays (which is pretty much through the entire movie). However, eventually you can tune it out once the real adventure begins.

Christopher Nolan crafts another great film, but this time it's his best yet! One of the most original ideas I've seen in a new movie in the last few years. Everything in the film succeeds on the highest level. Smart, mind bending, unbelievably surprising, and amazingly entertaining from start to finish.

As a lot of people have already mentioned, yes this is a mixture of James Bond and the Matrix, but there's so much more. Christopher Nolan takes a very original idea and goes with it. Everything from the visuals (obviously) to the script, sound, etc... were perfect. This is the best movie of the year so far. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt is really good, he has redeemed himself from the Cobra Commander debacle of last year. A must see. Contrary to popular belief it's actually quite easy to understand, unlike The Matrix which took a few viewings.

Inception was very well done. The idea was original and the plot had a lot of dialogue but also a lot of action. The concept really worked and there wasn't and huge holes in the idea, which is always great. I also felt the casting was great. Everyone felt really perfect for their role. The special effects were really great and worked with the plot rather than being in place of plot.
