I certainly plan on seeing Brody's other new film this summer: Predators!! I haven't read any reviews of Splice, only an article that suggested the marketing of the film misrepresented it. I agree that it seems to borrow from Species but it definitely seems to have a darker tone.

I have plans on watching it this weekend. It looks good, and usually high anticipation like this leads to poor gratification when I actually get to see it, but we'll see.

Looks just like Species to me. And it looks horrible. Some how it has been getting good reviews from many people around the critic world. I will probably see it in the theater. What have you heard?

I would just like to point out the insane similarities to both the Alien & Species film that it's poster/cover possesses. That's all. I'm some what interested in this film but i'm not convinced it's going to have anything new to offer = not worth seeing in theaters. Thoughts?
