Like so many bio-pics, this movie was a lot more fun during the first half (when YSL's career is taking off) than the second half, when everything starts to fall apart. Ulliel was superbe and of course it was a treat to see all the clothes, but I'm not sure the rest justified the 2.5 hour length. Oh, but what a tribute to the devotion of his boyfriend!
