There's a Bird In My Dressing Room

Nicole Eastman needs a nod of approval for her silly romantic comedy about the differences between men and women. When Gerard Butler's face appeared on the screen in his ridiculous try for an American dialect, I just about wanted to walk out. But who can walk out on Katherine Heigl. She's just adorable, idn't she? So I watched and laughed and laughed and laugned. This was truly one of the funniest movies of the summer, poking fun at relationships, newsmen, men, women, and the ugly truth that guides us all. I loved the amount of sexual innuendos poked at each, without it going over the top or becoming too...dare I say it..."Watiting"-ish. A fine line was walked but never crossed at an inappropriate moment. Even if you don't like the premise, the movie is made by the hysterical Cheryl Hines and John Michael Higgins.
