Gritty neo-noir with a sleazy hard edge to it. When a businessman (Scheider) is unfaithful to his wife (Ann-Margret), he stumbles into a dark world of infidelity, blackmail, porn stars, and even snuff films. The plot does take a while to kick into full gear but by the halfway mark I was interested in how Scheider would navigate his way out of his situation. John Glover is entertaining as the chief villain.
