Yvonne De Carlo carries the bulk of this period adventure as a brassy saloon girl who hatches a risky scheme to pass herself off as a socialite. Rock Hudson plays her partner-in-crime who isn't bad but he's not in the movie much. So the focus is on De Carlo who is very good and quite charming.
