Hard-edged thriller about two lovers (Kevin Costner, Madeleine Stowe) trying to avoid retribution by the woman’s powerful husband (Quinn). It’s admittedly slow paced but when the action starts, it’s brutal and nasty. Shot in Mexico, it looks good which is a sharp contrast to how ugly many of the characters are.
