Another twisty political thriller from Alan Pakula (Klute, All the President's Men) which captures the paranoia of its era. Some of the editing annoyed me though;scenes abruptly end. Warren Beatty is quite good as the reporter who uncovers a vast conspiracy but doesn't realize how much he's in over his head. Characters come and go.
