Very funny and very cynical whodunit that starts out as a 'twenty-somethings hanging out' type of comedy but then it shifts abruptly and violently into a murder mystery. And it does a good job of heightening tension and unveiling each character's sordid or just pathetic backstories. I can see this not working for everyone. Almost every character is a nasty piece of work. But that's a part of the dark humor and the commentary intertwined in the script.
