The plot for this thriller is too muddled to be engaging but it remains fascinatingly odd. It switches from being gritty to campy. Anita Ekberg is not a good actress but a gorgeous dancer. Harry Townes plays a suspicious character who is supposed to be threatening. But his acting is so cartoonishly over-the-top, that it's hilarious. Fans of fifties thrillers and film noirs will find this one weirdly entertaining for all the wrong reasons.
