This wants to be another quirky WW2-thriller like ‘Night Train to Munich’ or ‘The Lady Vanishes’.
Except for the story is kind of boring and the two leads have little chemistry together. The Irish setting is original but some of the accents are incomprehensible.
It does have moments of Hitchcockian suspense, like when Deborah Kerr is on a train trying to guess a fellow spy. But Frank Launder is no Hitchcock or even a Carol Reed.
