Hitchcockian styled thriller which has a lot of love for his work. But it tries to hard to pay tribute instead of trying something new. Meryl Streep reportedly hates this movie but she did a good job with the material. She's alluring but kind of menacing like a classic femme fatale would be in a Hitchcock movie. The mystery is uneven but the movie is still interesting.
