Elia Kazan's great masterpiece may seem daunting by its length at first. But it's worth checking out. It follows a Greek immigrant through all his mishaps until he finally reaches his final destination. Even if you are not a fan of Elia "Gadge" Kazan personally (he ratted on several "friends" during the McCarthy period), you can't deny his genius.
