Well-paced Western, good performances. Corny at times. Like most films in this genre it's a morality play. The good guys win. This is something I can watch many times and still have a good old time.

Silverado is one of my favorite movie from growing up and remains one of my favorite westerns. Other reviewers have commented that they don't know what the fuss was about with this movie, but I do. Its a movie for and by people who love westerns. It hits all the classic western components, but does it with style rather than just throwing everything together. A fun adventure great for an afternoon.

This was one of the better movies of '85. But like most older shows, when you see it again, you wonder what all the fuss was about.
