The first animated feature film ever is also one of the best animated experiences of all time. David Hand was named crazy, but his unique masterwork has transcended 70 years later and now is referenced as an inspirational source for creative and inventive storytelling. The Toy Story of the 30's (as for influence and landmark filmmaking goes). 98/100

A classic tale of Snow White being poisoned and awakened by a prince's kiss. The animation in this movie still holds up today and like the new animation today but this movie still holds up today.

Until reading these reviews, I did not know this was Disney's first film. Considering that, this is an amazing film for it being so young and fresh. A must-see for the nostalgia of seeing Disney's first film.

Disney's first and still one of their best. It's timeless.

There's certainly a significance in film history for this animated classic, but it also beams with vivacity and childish charm that reflects the optimism Disney injected into a trying time in American history.

No, the movie really isn't that good. But, I do believe, that when viewing this as an adult, you must watch it as a piece of history. There are better, but this one was the first.

It's showing its age now compared to some modern Disney classics, but Snow White still has that sweet, simple charm that made Disney into an animation giant. True, it's a plain by today's standards, but classics never get too old to enjoy.

It does not compare to anything that has been released in the past 20 years. Yes it has historical significance, but that does not make it a great movie. I never saw this as a child (but I did read the book). None the less, it does nothing for me. So, let your kids watch it while you make dinner or do laundry.
