Captain Picard recruits Kirk in order to stop a madman from destroying a solar system so he can enter a space phenomenon. -- DB
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B is on its maiden voyage with Pavel
Chekov, Montgomery Scott, and the legendary Captain James T. Kirk as
guests but encounters an emergency situation the saves many lives, but
apparently at the cost of the legendary Captain Kirk. Flash forward 78
years later and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, with Captain Picard at
the helm, must stop renegade Dr. Tolian Soran from destroying entire
solar systems - but the key to doing so lies with a man who has been
