The first episode of the greatest, most popular saga ever left me at the end, somewhat empty. I recognize (am I guilty?) having seen it 3 times at the theatre... but, the thing is that the time passed and I see a very weak SW movie... with weak characters... and, ultimately, a movie with the lack of that mystic that the olders had. Not a crap, but almost.

I loved Darth Maul. I would love to see Lucas take the character and release a show that has his origins, his training etc. The character was easily the most recognizable after Darth Vader. I could watch this movie multiple times just for Maul. Jake Lloyd on the other hand I could have lived without him playing Anakin. Hell I could have hours of conversation with Jar Jar if it meant that Jake Lloyd never acted again.

While the worst in the series, it is still not that bad. McGregor is outstanding as the young Obi Won. The problem is not Jar Jar Binks - it's young Anikan Skywalker - the worst casting in the history of Star Wars! He sucks so bad.

The worst of all the Star Wars. Too childish, too much computer animation and too much Jar Jar Binks.
