Morgan Freeman once said in an interview that this was his favorite role, because it allowed him to sing... to soar in the part I guess. It's one of my favorites because I enjoy watching the complexities of his character, not an endearing person, by any means, but a fascinating one to watch. Good film, good actor.

Morgan Freeman makes this movie. Without him, this movie wouldn't even be worth watching. I've heard that this is the movie that made Freeman. But, like I said, I think it's the other way around.
