Joe Pesci as a heartless greedy landlord who is forced to stay in one of his own slums. Typical contrived Hollywood junk in which the nasty rich man is taught life lessons by the noble poor folk. I'd like to force heartless greedy studio execs to sit through hours of this kind of crap...

Following in the same cheap footsteps as his slumlord father (Vincent Gardenia), Louis Kritiski (Joe Pesci) is every tenant's nightmare -- an owner with absolutely no conscience. But he gets what he deserves when a judge sentences him to live for 120 days in one of his own buildings. Surrounded by people who despise him, forced to endure the detestable living conditions he created, and hounded daily by a Housing Authority lawyer (Madolyn Smith Osborne), Louis must decide whether he will tough it out or change his ways. Ruben Blades co-stars in this hilarious urban comedy.
