Worst superman movie ever. Superman is on a quest to rid the world of nuclear weapons, but Lex Luther is once again up to his old tricks, creating Nuclear Man to combat the Man of Steel. This movie has one of the worst fighting you will ever see in your life and the visual effect's are so fake and really bad.

Dumb preachy nonsense that pits superman against a caped plank of wood in a non-stop po-faced cheesefest. Laughably bad.

Luthor and his nephew steal Superman's hair to create "Nuclear Man." Superman makes a message to all nations to remove all nuclear weapons. After re-watching this film, it seems that it was an unfitting end of the the franchise. It seemed more of statement documentary with prolonged dialogues instead of an entertaining fantasy. Fascinating how Superman knew who Nuclear Man was looking for and that he had a few extra powers. The intent of abducting Lacy (Mariel Hemingway) was never even explained. Has the worst screenplay of all and the obvious wiring that makes Reeves fly (where he drops off Nuclear Man) was visible. Not even John Williams' score can save the movie. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace was just preposterous.

Superman is back, and now he wants to rid the world of nuclear weapons and bring peace to the world. Unfortunately, he has an even bigger problem to deal with. Superman has to face a new enemy, called Nuclear Man, who, you guessed it, wants to kill Superman. As you have probably imagined, this movie is corny beyond belief. This, however, is what made it so enjoyable for me. Christopher Reeve is again fantastic as Clark Kent and Superman, and truly carries the movie and saves it from being garbage. Sure, the special effects are horrible, and the scripts is pretty laughable, but that doesn't stop this movie from being a hell of a lot of fun.

Worst of the series. In the same ballpark as the 'Batman & Robin' movie.

The story really is a lot of poorly written random scenes put together. Nothing is connected well and none of it is the least bit interesting. Do not watch this movie the first and second one are leagues superior because they know how to a make a compelling story that fits well together. The acting is still fine but they just do not have anything to do. Superman and Lex Luthor never really even meet.

This is pretty much the cream of the crap of superhero movies (up there with Batman & Robin). A somewhat interesting plot ruined by horrid effects, little action, poor acting and worse directing. Watch at your own risk!

My fav superhero is bashed here with a stupid script, stupid characters and stupid production that didn't pay for anything. A shame of a movie. An insult to an icon. I hate this movie. Is what Schumaher did with Batman, this is with Superman. It sucks. You live the cinema with wires in your eyes... just because how many they're. In my top 5 of the worst movies ever.
