The story is about tank Girl and a few other people are the surviving in wasteland that is Earth, where all the remaining water is controlled by Water and Power, the mega corporation/government that runs the territory. After meeting some mutant kangaroo/humans, Tank Girl fights to take down Water and Power. This movie was a ugly mess with no respect for the comic books.

I cannot understand how anyone could subject themselves to this awful awful film. It's just not a good movie. There is only one part of the plot that is acceptable (corporation controlling the worlds water), but thats the only part of the plot/rest of the movie that isnt revolting. Oh, and there's this 10 minute comic sequence of the girls customizing the tank. It's so long and boring, it'll really make you wonder who the hell green-lighted this junk..If you ever see this movie on the shelves of a video store, it is your civic duty to try to harm it in any way possible. The store owners might get mad at you at first, but that's only because they havn't seen the movie.

So, its not really good, but it is really fun. Kangaroo mutants are cool and really make the movie fun is silly.

A very strange movie, but unlike other strange movies I have seen, Tank Girl just wasn't my scene. It's based off of a cult British comic strip, which actually explains a lot.

The Tank Girl version of "Let's Do It" by Cole Porter is pretty funny. I really didn't realize that was Naomi Watts throughout the whole movie. Different hair color/accent, can you blame me? Really this is a terrible movie, but it is worth watching strangely enough.
