He said he'd be back...and I'm glad he came back. This movie made more money in terms of percentage increase from the original movie ever (400 something percent I think) and it's obvious. It's a GREAT action movie and CGI really came into its own in this movie. In my top 20 and a must see for sci-fi or action fans.

T2 is now one of the all time classic action movies, as well as, sci-fi movies. The plot is interesting, fast paced, and designed to really make you feel about the characters. The acting is also great. Linda Hamilton's transformation from the first movies is amazing and exactly what would have happened to that character. Edward Furlong is great as John Conner and all other actors in that role suffer in comparison. John Conner is such an interesting and unusual character it is good to see him portrayed as the brilliant, but tragic character that he is.

I was in HongKong when this came out. And no, I didn't watch the Chinese version. I might be bold enough to say that this was where a new dimension of this genre started. Phenomenal. You knew at that time it was something unseen before. And you kinda knew that there will probably be no other movie that will be quite like it in the future. Sort of sealed a timeless patent called IR-REPLICABLE.

Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 1/1 + Plot: 1/1 + Music: 1/1 = 8.5/10 or 85%. The great conceptual drama of the robotic end times gets a makeover and it is a good one. For a pure kinetic sci-fi adventure T2 is more than respectable.

This is one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. And, it beats the f***in' livin' hell out of the first and third Terminator movies!

Not quite as good at the first Terminator but still a very close second. Loved Linda Hamilton as the toughened and deadly Sarah Conner. The new model of terminator is significantly more frightening than the original. The action's great and keeps you enthralled. As expected, there are plenty of gruesome scenes and still some funny lines.

This movie brings all the suspense the first movie brings but adds to the ground work the first terminator laid an absolutely in depth story and incredible characterization. You wouldn't think you could care for a machine, let alone a killing machine, but by the end of this movie you will care.

The second Terminator is my favorite of the series. Better effects, better story and even a better villain - T2 takes all the best elements of the first movie and just cranks it up a few more notches. This time, the original Terminator has taken the role of protector and a new, liquid-metal cyborg is the hunter. The real fun part is seeing how the parts from the Terminator in the last movie has been used to essentially create the future they're trying to prevent. Which creates a paradox all it's own. Got that? See it's not just a mindless actions flick. It makes you think!
