There is a neat idea buried underneath the confusing plot. Not all the elements come together and the ending is lackluster. This turns out to be an average sci-fi at best.

How truly good this movie is, I don't know. But, I personally love the concept, love most of the scenes, and have a good time watching it. It is not as good as it was the first, but still I like it. True sci-fi fans should enjoy it.
