My favorite out of all the John Grisham adaptations that I have seen due to the riveting story and a well-put-together cast. It does tend to be a bit heavy-handed on the racial side of things, but not enough to be a deterrent.

Keifer Sutherland, Donald Sutherland, Charles Dutton, Samuel L. Jackson, Ashley Judd, Chris Cooper, Oliver Platt, and Sandra Bullock. This cast really complimented the story in the best way that it could. The film is based on a book by John Grisham. I read the book before seeing the movie and felt that it was a fairly accurate portrayal. The plot is simple, there is a an 11 year old black girl that was found raped and killed by two white men. They go to trial and when it looks like they are going to be set free, the girls father (Samuel L. Jackson) kills them both. Now he is up for the charge of murder in a town that is still over run with racial bigotry. The movie is decent there is a lot of suspense that keeps things going.
