A modern age "Somewhere in Time" but with a different twist of "The Notebook." I felt there was some unnecessary dialogue that could have kept the pace of the story faster and more interesting. The two leads have on-screen chemistry and the scenes were not that cheesy for a romantic drama with a touch of science fiction elements. The dates can be confusing and its conclusion was just depressing. Themes of trust and dealing adverse situations is presented vividly. Still, The Time Traveler's Wife is worth watching especially if your married.

This movie made me cry twice. It cleared up all confusion about chronology and time travel technicalities that I had when reading the book. It's a chick flick for sure. Manipulative and heartbreaking and sappy and romantic. You might not like it if you are a dude or a cold heartless girl. I thought it was pretty quality, though. Another great movie to get you laid.

This is a really beautiful story with some great acting. McAdams and Bana make a great combo and I would recommend this movie to anyone.

I was really looking forward to this one simply because I could get my wife to watch a Sci-Fi. I was not disappointed. I did drag at times and lacked some drama. But, it was a solid romance with good performances. A good flick for two.

"The Time Traveler's Wife" was much better than what I expected it to be. I had a whole bottle of water and an unopened Junior Mints box when I walked out during the credits to this movie. It kept me enrapt in its own story and storytelling abilities. I truly enjoyed Eric Bana [who could've been another Tom Cruise, but wasn't, thank God] as well as Rachel MacAdams [whose performance was the first I liked since "Red Eye"]. The ending is brilliantly done, tying up every loose end and adding fervent meaning to the romantic entanglements between all of the characters. Though differing and varying slightly from the book, it was true to the message and all of it was great.
