I watched this movie last night after not having seen it for years. I forgot how good it really is. It has something for everybody. It's a historic, action, dramatic, love story. Perfect.

Points for cinematography, but the rest is putrid. A schmaltzy script. One way to know if the story is any good is to watch it on a smaller screen. The first time I watched it, oddly enough, was on a plane heading to LA. All I remember thinking is "what is all the buzz about?" Then, I had to watch this movie get more Academy Awards than a truly great movie in The Green Mile. Watch this on a DVD on a normal screen and you will realize that were it not for the images, the acting and the script stunk.

One of the most amazing movies that I have ever seen. It took me forever to finally watch it, but once I got into the story I never wanted it to end! It's the perfect love story! Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio also do a great job in this movie and the special effects are flawless. When watching this I advise you have a box of tissues handy because you will need every one!

Great movie, people just seem to love to hate this movie for some unknown reason. This is definitely one of the best. I was a fool at first and refused to watch it as I chalked it up as just a "chick flick" years later my tastes evolved and I discovered this incredible film one night on HBO. My 2nd favorite movie of all time and by the end I was balling just like all those girls I thought were sappy for doing so back when it came out in theaters. Taunt me, laugh at me all you want this is an AMAZING FILM!

Did I just give a serious chic flick 3.5 stars? Yes! And I probably would have given it four if I wasn't bitter about the girls crying for Jack in almost every class I had in high school. Perfect special effects, great acting - great movie.

Call me crazy, but there's a reason Titanic will never be toppled as the #1 movies of all time: it simply has the perfect blend of action, romance and history. Yes, it's a little sappy and a little long - but overall, it's a great film.
