One of my favorite Hitchcock films - a movie that doesn't try to shock with a twist ending and, instead, maintains tension throughout an espionage-filled plot. I like how the hero is also not someone of American or British heritage and how the film takes place in an interesting international setting. Detective film meets Bond film.

Even though this film is not that bad, it's not that great either! It does not work, even though he tried to be cute and cast Claude Jade.
